Memorial Day 2021

It is Memorial Day 2021.  For some reason, I have found it difficult to write this weekend and I’m not particularly certain as to why.  Last Memorial Day I wrote about reflection and reaching out.

Reflecting: I’ve had the opportunity to stand on Omaha Beach, Normandy, at 0630 on the 6th of June during a low tide.  I’ve been at Bastogne and have walked through the woods up Little Round Top in Gettysburg.  When I visit those places, I can’t help but think of those I knew personally that never made it back home.  I guess that I where my reflection is today.

Reaching out: I received a call from someone, very unexpectedly, thanking me for my service.  If you have someone you can connect with, I encourage you to do so.

If I could borrow 6:50 of your time, here are two videos I want to share.  I will also have them on my FaceBook page (The Financial Planning Group):

Please remember that we are “here” and available for you as well.  If you have any questions or concerns, financial or otherwise, please do not hesitate to call or email.  If you have friends, family, or neighbors you feel would benefit from a conversation with me, I’m more than happy to have a call or jump on a Zoom meeting with them.

As always, I hope that you are doing well, and staying safe & healthy!
